Back in the 19th century, kites were used to pull boats. In 1977 it was the Dutchman Bert Panhuis who used a kite to tow him standing upright on the water.Eight years later two brothers designed a kite with inflatable sections so they were able to start right from the water. The materials are still being developed and redesigned.Around 1996 the kite surfing pioneering began, especially in southern France and in Hawaii. Congratulations on joining one of the most rapidly growing sports on the planet. Whether you have been to your "home" mountain and seen all the crazy people going down the hills sideways on funny looking wheel less skateboard things or have gotten caught up in all the Winter X Games hype exploiting Olympic medalists like Shaun White or Hannah Teeter, you have made a great choice to become a part of the snowboarding community.Go into this new adventure with an open mind but more importantly be ready to accept failure. Not to say that you will not ultimately succeed at this sport, however you must not let your spirits get down just because you do not pick it up right away. Snowboarding is just like anything else, it requires patience and practice. Do not expect to just strap in to your bindings and perform Cab 9's in the pipe your first day. As a matter of fact, do not even think about the half pipe your first day. No matter how easy the pros make it look
Continue reading

Yes, it is very true that there is enough money in terms of horse betting. There are so many people who manage to try their gambling skills by means of such bets. When you head to the tracks, it is very difficult to come with one figure in mind that will help you win the jackpot. Most people use their years of experience and some people are helped from many sources. Though all this is mostly supported by ones luck, there are still a few things that should be considered or kept in mind as it will have a lot of influence on the game. However if you want to win, your bet should be really close and that is only based on the information you have as only then will you have the best chances to win. Boating conditions on the Cape can run from the sheltered bays to the slightly more exposed areas of Cape Cod Bay and Nantucket Sound, to the extremely exposed, unforgiving, mighty Atlantic Ocean. Care must be exercised when enjoying the waters of the Cape on a boat. Be sure to always have the proper safety equipment, be aware of the rules of boating, and always...always...did I say always...keep an eye on the marine weather.Boating on Cape Cod does not necessarily require you to own a boat. If you have a little experience and would like to tackle the waters of the Cape on your own, there are a number of companies offering Cape Cod boat rentals. We personally have rented from Ship Shops in Yarmouth and we were very happy, both with the quality of the boats and the very friendly and helpful staff. We rented a 22' Boston Whaler, complete with all the necessary safety equipment and our family of five had an amazing time on Nantucket
Continue reading
